Deuteronomy 32:8 When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance, when he divided all mankind, he set up boundaries for the peoples according to the number of the sons of Israel.
As the people of Israel were to enter into Canaan there were people there who were to be ousted. The nation needed to know where they fit. God had a plan and they were the heart of it and needed to know what was at stake. Do we in the “church”, those who carry Jesus to the nations, know the plan and what is at stake. We enter not into Canaan, but into a world broken, lost in great knowledge, covered in layers of guilt and broken dreams with an inheritance of mercy, hope, freedom and promise. Have you received the call again today? Is the land laying before you empty, but full of hope? The Lord gave Israel a call, we have a call now based on the greater Exodus, from the family of the world to the family of God. Look again.
