Matthew 7:7 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
I am not sure if it is clear from whom we are to seek. Oh, we say God or Jesus I am sure. But is it really Him or is it from whatever luck may offer or opportunity will open? Are we clear of whom we are seeking? We say it is prayer or God, but for many of us it is a form of luck or just rewards that we expect things to come to our benefit. God is the word that covers such expectations, but is He real to us? I hope so, but as I watch conversations, we are often falling back on things of this world or blind luck. Our Father through Jesus has opened a way of life in which He is central and part of our living as even our environment is. Come to the door of His heart and knock freely because He loves you and His word today is ASK. Ask Him, the one who died and rose. Ask Him the one who created and maintains in spite of our selfish destructive patterns of life. As Him because He still offers Himself openly and freely in a love that is greater than just wishing. Just ASK HIM.
