I have known anger, lust, fear, and other attributes of the wicked. I have also walked in the confidence of my Savior’s mercy and love. That has changed my vision of life so that when in the darkness of the hurts of life, even in the presence of the broken, I can see the light of His glory and love working. I still have moments when I want to give up on someone, but even then I can see the cross covering them with a love beyond any I can imagine. When we look at the hurt in others, especially the hurts they bring on themselves, let the light of His mercy cover them for you. When we allow the curse they have in them come from us, we are hiding the light He offers for us to give. Let light flow from us so that He can offer more mercy to the broken.
