REALLY?

Luke 6:37 "Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

How can I help but judge the man who abuses young girls at the church? How about the man who sells women under his abuse? Not judge the drug pusher on 6th street in Austin? Not condemn the leader who sends thousands of troops to commit murders in Africa? Forgive the thief who burned the house down the street to cover his tracks? Really? If not them, then why me? My acts, my thoughts were not as evil as some of these, but the forgiveness they might receive opens the door wider for my own offering from my Lord. The consequences of my hidden heart may not show up as clearly as theirs have, but I am in need of healing for that heart of wickedness also. Can we see the broken as needy as well as ourselves? Jesus died not for those (who may never have existed) who walk rightly, but for those who have fallen and are called forward in His kingdom. Just for thought: Peter’s call was Luke 5:8 “When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesus' knees and said, "Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!" Paul’s: Acts 9:5 "Who are you, Lord?" Saul asked. "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting," he replied. 6 "Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do."

Who is greater than these? Shall we all submit to such judgment? Really?
