New, New and New

Revelations 21:1 Then I saw "a new heaven and a new earth," for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Look! God's dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 'He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death' or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." 5 He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true."

The old order will finally pass away. All of the destruction, the cleansing and pain of the first creation is to pass away that the original plan of fellowship with the Father may be completed. How horrible it has been to see sin win again and again in the lives of those near us and the world around us! We have seen wars, disasters, interpersonal destructions as almost normal in life. Accusations, frustrations and fear are almost a normal way of living that will be replaced by “everything new”. New men and women, New forms of fellowship, New vision of Our God and New emotions of awe and truth. The old order will have no place in this world where tears will not only not be normal, but no longer remembered! Awesome! Are you and I even ready for such a time and place. Ideally yes, practically, I am still trying to figure out this mess. Are you ready for the New?
