Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ
Matthew 5:16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
Remember where this is said: after a bunch of “Blessed are you”’s. (Not sure of the punctuation, but…) Jesus is proclaiming the Kingdom of God as a function of God’s blessings and the life to be lived when blessed. Then light and salt will be there for the lives of the people around the blessed. The light may seem to be ours, we may rejoice that we have light, but be assured it is not ours, but HIS. It is His as the source, ours as the recipients who are given access to life not dominated by our needs, but by the role God will give to us as light to our people. Let it shine. Let that little light shine!
