Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ
Luke 24:4 While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. 5 In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, "Why do you look for the living among the dead? 6 He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: 7 'The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.'"
I seem to remember that the Father, Creator, God gave all things to Adam and Eve in His love and they forgot in the offering of greater desire that the snake gave. Jesus gave a hope of resurrection that was set aside in the snakes “victory” of death. But the truth has been declared, “He lives” and that changes all the fears, doubts and defeats of our lives into hope in Him. The angels proclaimed it, the women heard it, but as of that instant could not have processed it any better than you or I. We have been told of this event over and over and we still fear dying, offer it as the ultimate loss and forget that “ He is not here; he has risen!” As we go through these days of summer, change and adjustments, it might be good to remember once more that the place of loss and death may yet carry an announcement of life and unknown encounters with the Holy God of Life. Remember: He told you!
