Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ
Psalm 92:12-15 12 The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; 13 planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God. 14 They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, 15 proclaiming, "The LORD is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him."
For many of us the state of being for God is based on recent experiences in life: The broken promises of a church, a friend or the government. The moral weakness of one we trusted and admired. The life that ended too soon. Yet, to proclaim the Lord, the righteous, the Rock, means to sidestep the accusations of life and look at the source of such trust. For one who does not know Jesus, the history of the nation of Israel is one of calling back the failures of trust while noting the continuing activity of the Father in sending the Josephs, the Davids and the Isaiahs and the rest. When we see that He uses His people, we see that in the life of many broken, there are always some whose walk with the Lord is real, deep and whose voice cries out “The Lord is my Rock”. Such is the cry of the righteous.
