Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ
Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
The preceding verses in Matthew 24 are full of the brokenness of the world, of the spiritual mess we live in and the future struggle for wholeness that is ongoing. Into this is the message of Jesus for healing and hope. We are not given a time without pain and troubles ahead of us shortly, but a promise of an eternal kingdom of which we see in part, but not in whole at this time. There is forgiveness, healing, mercy and service, but also hatred, violence, retribution and other signs that the Kingdom of God has not completed His work. In the meantime, the message of the King and His Kingdom is to be proclaimed in the atmosphere of the retreating enemy of hope. His time will END!
