Imperishable

1 Corinthians 15:42 So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; 43 it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; 44 it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.

If I die which is on the schedule, but not desired today, there will be a radical (from my current viewpoint) change in me. I have a friend who has died twice in surgery situations who has reported the glory of what is to come. Many have reported and have been studied of such things. What I get so far is that what is to come is beyond what you and I have experienced in this world. That which is the realm of the Father is of different stuff than what we even can understand. (I note that most of the testimonies I have heard or seen come from folks who declare Jesus as Lord). And I note that one story has left me skeptical of all such because of the weirdness of it. The final essence is this: I have a physical body, with a physical mind and senses. What is to come is different to such an extent that we are not capable of judging it. We can only go on one picture: Jesus lives so that we might join Him. Give me such a spiritual body that I might escape this physical limit in which I now live (the perishable). Oh, thank you Lord for the time I have had preparing for our union.
