Hos. 14:8   Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found.

The Image!

Genesis 1:27 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. 28 God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground." 29 Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.

I am weak, limited and yet filled with hope. I create nothing that is not already in the plans of the Lord. I am limited by not only the physical body, but the mind that rules this body and it’s life. How then, can I be in the image of this almighty, all knowing and all imagining creator? Let US consider. We are meant to have fellowship, trust and life in the shadow of our Father. We are not called to rule over, but with and under Him in this world of His creation. We are to care for the creatures and elements around us, to even learn and rejoice in them. As He is to care for and rejoice in us, even in our weakness of life, He would rejoice in us. In the multiplicity of our own fruitfulness, there is joy in the Father of us all and in that fruit there is expansion of Himself, even with the blot of rebellion that exists in all. Yes, we are broken vessels, but we are also vessels crafted by the creator whose desire is to maintain fellowship with us all in our discovery of life and Our Maker.
