Read all of John 1. This is the Jesus song of tribute. My seminary professor spent 10 weeks on the book of John and never got beyond verse 18! I shall not get beyond the second word: beginning. Creation? God’s emergence?? Whatever was there, He was there. Whomever God the Father is, The Word was there. What we do not know now is what will be fully revealed with the final Maranatha (Rev. 22:20) Until then, know that what was, will be and is promised from the beginning. The now does not define the ending, even the current condition, but the beginning is meant to tell us about the ending and that is exciting to me. How about you?
