Deuteronomy 4:29 But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul.
If from prison, if from divorce, if from wandering in the lost cities of emptiness, if from your anger and frustration you should seek the Lord, you will find Him. There is no lost cause. You may be dealing with a very hurtful and discouraging situation where even you have turned away from what God has shown you (none of us seem to have all there is to know of Him), the promise is that He is waiting for you and will walk with you and me as we stumble in our hurt, darkness and fears. The people of God (check the story of them in the First covenant) and you will see failure, lies and wrong turns, but the Lord was found again and again. We also have that promise in the pain, guilt and hurt of this life. Seek Him with all your heart and soul. There is not lost cause.
