Ex. 25:6 Oil for the light, spices for anointing oil, and for sweet incense
Isaiah 12:1 In that day you will say: "I will praise you, LORD. Although you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you have comforted me. 2 Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation." 3 With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.
Has God had reason to be angry with us? Is that a stupid question? We can certainly find reasons for God to be angry with others, right? But me? He is most likely ticked off about some attitudes I sometimes carry, maybe a bit upset with some by products of my behavior, possibly, maybe worse….. Are we even sure what it is in us that would cause the Father to be angry with His child? I will trust that I do hide behind some outward signs of goodness that in fact cover over some inward self-directed issues and flaws that His salvation does cover. The joy is that “in that day” I actually turn those flaws, attitudes and outright “sins” into His strength. He is able to work through my life to make new out of broken old self. That is salvation. I trust.

Is. 54:1 Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.
