My wish for healing, for evangelism, for charities is that the Lord would truly be praised so that all who are used by the Lord would be quietly unnamed. Yes, people are used always. Yes, it is hard not to notice those who are known as leaders of charities, evangelists, healers and even presidents of colleges, seminaries and denominational executives, but would it not be awesome if only God would get the credit? If we occasionally accomplish something, it is best if the Lord is the author, power and director of the something. I hope that every SS teacher would be remembered lovingly by their students. Same with pastors and youth leaders. I hope faithful service workers would receive credits for long hours and sacrificed days of labor. But all should know that the Lord calls, equips and directs us in all our doings. Let us work freely for His glory.
