Matthew 5:14 "You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
These last days have been a challenge to our hearts and lives to be lifted up to the world around us so that the hungry for God might find Him in the lives of those who have been touched and changed by His love and presence. The final stage in this challenge is that we be changed. Not that we believe more, but that fundamentally we have truly become new creatures no longer of a broken world, but those living in the presence of The Living God. We do not just sing words or make speeches, but are truly new in heart and foundation because He lives. We are not following theologies though they are sometimes even helpful, but we are living in the presence of the Heart of Our Father who will give us a life-style not of this world, but of His peace, presence and personality that they will feel and even follow. Just that little light.
