Jeremiah 16:15 but it will be said, 'As surely as the LORD lives, who brought the Israelites up out of the land of the north and out of all the countries where he had banished them.' For I will restore them to the land I gave their ancestors.
Some might get excited and push to see where Israel is now today. Israel was led back from the newly Persian of Babylon to rebuild the walls and the temples after these words were given to Jeremiah. At the same time we look at the Holy Land today and ask if this is a fulfillment of the same promise after 2000 years of dispersal. The promise before us today is that of our Messiah who has called all peoples and all lands into fellowship with the Father and each other. The world will battle over Israel and each other because the ruler of this world is still very active. When he (the ruler of this world) is removed what will any of us have? Let us seek the presence of The Holy Spirit in Israel, Tokyo, New York, Los Angeles and Medina please. Then the land will be returned to those who are called.
