April fools’ day! What is this thing about Our God in the lilies? Maybe it is that what seems so simple would show that our Lord, our Creator does love what He has made and wants us to rejoice in it too. Maybe it is that when we have learned to love Him, we also rejoice in what pleases Him. Maybe it is that what He finds a pleasure to us is the intent of all of creation. Maybe it is that when God shows a love for the things of our world, we can respond with a joyful sonnet of love.
