Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ
Hebrews 10:19 Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, 20 by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
If you look back over the last 3 days notes, the theme of the Presence of God is lifted up in various ways over the centuries. Here the invitation seems to be quite open, but take a look: “a sincere heart and full assurance of faith” seem to be needed. These have been purchased and revealed in the story/history/gospels of Jesus. It is not my firm faith, but His great gifts that are called to the front of the line as I enter into the heavenly Lord. It is not how often I have read the Bible, gone to church or anything I have done, but His Love, Sacrifice and Invitation that open that curtain for me to seek the Lord while He may be found. Don’t look elsewhere – walk unswervingly with Our Father day by day – His door is always open!
