2Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
How equipped am I for music or athletics? Not very at this point in my life. What about you? Are you equipped for all that the Lord wants of you? We all can be! Let the word of God in the book give you the message that was given to all before us: “I am God and you are my people”. “Go into the land and in habit it with my presence.” “I am your shepherd, you shall not want.” “Go into all the world and tell of my resurrection.”
Some will not get it. Some will not hear it. But some will. As we read the Bible, we are told that many will not hear, but many will. The good work may be in teaching, mechanics, music, iron work, plowing and harvesting, preaching and many other leadings that the Lord will send, but He will send us equipped. As we are enveloped by the Word of God, we will be equipped for His good work. And that is the guarantee.
