Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
I remember a walk when it was dark and the path not too clear when I asked to one in back of me, “are you still there?” That test is the test of the transformed believer. “Are you still with me Lord?” “Am I still with you Lord?” Does your will still define the daily attitude I have in my life? The silly science fiction of transformers who try to conquer the world is not a silly picture to the person sensitive to the Lord. Why is that picture still in my head? Why did I react that way to that “Jerk”? That these things linger in us shows us the battle of transformation. Do I want the perfect will of God to be my dominant response to the broken world? May our answer be “yes, please help me Father”. Every day. Break the pattern of the world, let me be transformed.
