I hear Jeremiah 1:5 here: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you”. Could this have been true of Jesus at the very beginning? Of Abraham? David? You? I? That in some way, the Lord of Life has a life purpose for everyone if only we will hear? It is not clearly proclaimed, but you get the pictures that some folks were clearly set out to take on leadership in the nation, fellowship or service to others. We usually think this way of our leaders or heroes. But what if it even is that way for the family, even the members of the family and our gift is to discover that calling so that as we live out our lives we will see the joy of being in the flow of God’s love? Personally, I do not know what He fully has for me, but I hope I am used where I need to be and I pray that you can have confidence of His purpose for you not just in some specific way, but in that general way that says: “God,,,,was pleased to reveal his Son to me that I might”….!
