Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ
Leviticus 23:40 On the first day you are to take branches from luxuriant trees—from palms, willows and other leafy trees—and rejoice before the LORD your God for seven days. 41 Celebrate this as a festival to the LORD for seven days each year. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come; celebrate it in the seventh month. 42 Live in temporary shelters for seven days: All native-born Israelites are to live in such shelters 43 so your descendants will know that I had the Israelites live in temporary shelters when I brought them out of Egypt. I am the LORD your God.'"
Remember that when you left Egypt you were not in charge: food? I brought it! Shelter? I provided it! Protection, I provided it! The principle of this order is that we would not forget. Why would we want a cross anywhere in our lives: God provided it for our new lives! Remember what He has done! Why would we want bread and wine? Remember, He paid for our new lives! Why would we want services for Christmas and Easter? Remember who and what has been done to touch our lives with the presence of God! As we remember, we acknowledge the reality that it is not about us so much as we are about Him, His work, His purpose and His promise. Remember. Oh, and remember He is always with you, remember!
