The church of Sardis, the people who walked in fellowship in the Lord were failing in their tasks of living under the weight of the community around them. Many had fallen from the purposes of the life in the Lord. There were some who had kept the living relationship with God alive, but were weak. The challenge was and always will be to keep the love of God alive within and giving it out to those around. Do we live in the city of Sardis today? Are we filled with attitudes and fears of false powers as we testify openly about the Love of God. Do not give up, do not cease to offer Him to those around. The victory is right in front of you.
