As I write this, it is two days after Charlie Kirk was killed in Utah. I had heard of him, but never heard or read his work. I have now. The problem was that people who did not listen to him or did not listen while they listened thought he was attacking them when he was only trying to get them to listen to themselves. What should have been a shining star in their lives was warped and crooked in their warped and crooked lives. How we can offer shining stars to the broken is a challenge of love not just truth. Lord, help us be your true children.
