Zechariah 6:12 Tell him this is what the LORD Almighty says: 'Here is the man whose name is the Branch, and he will branch out from his place and build the temple of the LORD. 13 It is he who will build the temple of the LORD, and he will be clothed with majesty and will sit and rule on his throne. And he will be a priest on his throne. And there will be harmony between the two.'
At first glance this might be about Jesus. He has certainly been called the BRANCH and from Him will come that living TEMPLE called the church – His people. But the message is applied to a person named Joshua (a form of Jesus) named Joshua son of Jozadak (Zechariah 6:11) who -so far as I know was not Ezra- did not build it either. But the picture sure seems aimed at Jesus the Son of God. I rejoice that we can see the Temple of the Living Father as part of our lives. When pictures like this or even the Exodus are shown, know that The Purpose of the Father is always at work. FOR US. And that is how I read it.
