Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ
Romans 5:18-19 Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men. For as by the one man's (Adam’s) disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's (Christ’s) obedience the many will be made righteous.
We make a lot of noise about our sin and His righteousness and it is OK to do so, but here a somewhat different picture is raised that we really need to see. Kristian Stanfill recorded a song “Glorious Day” that pictures life WITH our Father. The gift of righteousness is not about getting rid of sin, but of the separation between us and our Father whose presence is a Glorious Day forever. If you can, find the music for this song and let it encourage our walks in this world of sin and darkness. There is a whole different day ahead.
