Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ
Psalm 25:2 I trust in you; do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me. ……15 My eyes are ever on the LORD, for only he will release my feet from the snare.
I remember shame – they made fun of my name. I remember enemies – they taunted me on the playground. There has been greater shame – fired from serving the Lord. Different enemies – a broken heart and a desire for acknowledgement. What battles we fight change from time to time, but the greatest ones are often only known to us because they are not always public. BUT, the Father knows. And note that most of the enemies that really matter are not public, but personal which attacks the message of the Love of God and the purposes of the Almighty in your life. David’s response is 1) to trust Him and 2) keep his attention (eyes) on the Lord. Where are our eyes today?
