2 Corinthians 10:3 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
This war is not for land, money, power, or bodies, but for the vision of life. Our Father created us for fellowship with Him. That did not last. The first way we wage war is for the hearts of people to open up to the One who has made them, loves them and calls them to fellowship with Him. This means that we go in unity with the One who loves. It is not our battle, but His. We are His instruments called to love whom He loves, serve whom He serves and go where He goes. We bring with us weapons of service, love and the presence of His Spirit with the awareness that He is with us and all things are possible in His purposes. Our war is a war of declaration and participation for the love of those He targets. Bombs away!!!
