Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ
2 Corinthians 6:4 Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses; 5 in beatings, imprisonments and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger; 6 in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love; 7 in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left; 8 through glory and dishonor, bad report and good report; genuine, yet regarded as impostors; 9 known, yet regarded as unknown; dying, and yet we live on; beaten, and yet not killed; 10 sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything.
How are you doing? That question is often put before us. Apparently before Paul as well. If it were me, the answer would focus first on my problems. You also maybe. For him: “God is with me.” Yes, I hurt, but He is praised. Yes, I have enemies, but He is my friend. What true vision do we have in our living? Do we really see The Father, Son and Spirit walking not just with us, but in, through and beyond us? I see failures here and there in my life. Do I know that He will make His purposes fulfilled even as I stumble? Do you? I praise the Lord that on no day is He not walking hope for us. Praise the Lord today that you are His project, not Him yours!
