Ephesians 1:11 In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, 12 in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory.
When one of my Bible Study groups hit this and other paragraphs in Ephesians the first argument came to be about “predestination” of certain persons. I choked. NO! I wanted to scream. That is not the point. The point is that Jesus opened the door on purpose, predestined plan, to the world of broken, lost and needy persons by the clear will of God to give hope to the glory of God and not certain people, but all. Yes, some will get it, but the world was given salvation by Jesus. JOHN 3:16 read it again!
