Luke 4:18 "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, 19 to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor."
The mission of Jesus was not His alone. It was structured, powered and led by the Holy Presence of God Himself in the Spirit. Even as Jesus quoted Isaiah, He was under that guidance and urgency of The Father Himself. The Trinity vision is our best way of understanding of this Divine action of The God of the Universe. The fact that we struggle to put words and structure to Him is inevitable because The Lord is not of our creation, but we of His. The time of the favor (pleasure, vision, purpose) of The Father needs to be proclaimed because we need to know it is not ours but His. And Jesus did it and His Spirit continues it, even in the weakened hands and hearts of the disciples of faith. The blind, oppressed and prisoners are still looking for the Word.
