Ephesians 5:1 Follow God's example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
It seems easy to be overcome by the obstacles in the way of our mission in this world with Our Living Savior. Our culture kills children, separates by wealth and poverty, argues over fleshly urges, and indulges in drugs and drink that kill the spirit without lifting it. The leadership of many years now is identified by its opposition to those of the other side as much as any real character of faith and purpose for all. The alternative is this: love. Love that does not count self as the center of importance, but the one we are with at any moment. Love that says, “you are His beloved, valued treasure and object of the cross and resurrection”. He lives in His children and wants to live in you, “I believe that for you”. Can we love in that style? He did and calls us to follow Him. That’s “How”.
