Belief is not real until it is practiced. I used to believe I could throw a baseball accurately and fairly fast and with movement. NEVER ACTUALLY DID IT! Oh, I did it against a wall. I did make one short appearance in a game with a team I did not know and they never called me back. I say this not for sympathy, but the reality is that many of us pray but the art of forgiveness is not really behind our prayers. We are able to see the faults and potential faults in others pretty well, but actually having a heart of forgiveness is difficult to have unless we see the total gift of Jesus as ours. Then we will pray the prayers that get answered. They may not seem like miracles, but our open door to the Father will be much easier to walk through.
