Galatians 5:16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
Rules and standards sure sound good. Desires actually seem stronger. Ask many of my classmates back in the 60’s. They all knew the rules, but they were rewriting the rules and glorified the desires of the flesh, which by the way were already challenged in back rooms, bars and brothels, but not in the open ways of our time. Today, those who walk by the Spirit are often laughed at without shame by those who are still walking by the flesh. When we see the evidence of the flesh around us, please respond by asking the Lord to flood the nation, the community and our families with His Spirit that the flesh would once again be dominated by His Love and Honor.
