The reason I avoid the Song of Songs is that I like to think that following God, Father, Son and Spirit is not an emotional, but faith founded life. The lines here seem founded upon very personal, even sexual components that do not seem very healthy to focus on. But certainly the nature of the narrative runs in that direction. Then, I do realize that a good marriage has both a reasonable relationship built on trust and communication (good items for the Lord as well) and strong sexual components. So without saying more (can’t help but get in trouble), You win.
