“Listen, Listen, Love, Love” - Kairos Motto
Isaiah 54:5 For your Maker is your husband— the LORD Almighty is his name— the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; he is called the God of all the earth.
This is written (Isaiah 54:1) to the barren woman. Her purpose of giving life is gone. The challenge to Eve is lost to her and hope is understood as lost. But to her, this word is given that The Lord is hers in ways the rest might not treasure. As a man, but also as a father, I may not capture the essence of this promise, but I would encourage us to seek the fellowship of the Lord of Life as seriously as those who have lost children and those who have missed the gift of family. I wonder how many today are left by choice as desolate women and now need the Lord all the more.
