“Listen, Listen, Love, Love” - Kairos Motto
Psalm 103:4 who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion
We cannot save ourselves, though we think we can improve both our human status and our divine relationship. Much human status is a gift of 1) God’s creation which benefits some more than others (physical, mental and social gifts) 2) birth status (family, national and opportunities). For any of us, redemption is an act of Our Father with the understanding that some are closer to that gift than others (because Jesus is already in the vocabulary). The creation gifts help and so do the social gifts help, but redemption is offered to all in our Lord. We cannot claim our walk with the Lord as our effort any more than some human achievements are singularly our efforts.
