Psalm 61:4 I long to dwell in your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of your wings.
I am not David, but sometimes the stress of this world gets to me and I want to hide. There is a lady, she knows who she is, who lost a child and her husband who went often to the church that in those days was open. Today, it and most others are locked because of the insanity of the wicked. Where can we run when “the world is too much with us” (I forget who used that term before)? (Yes, I could look it up, but ….really?). Today’s scripture is a picture for all of us, it is not to the bar, the drug or to battle, but to the presence of the Lord who is not held in a building, but present to our living world. Please cry for His presence today and always when hurting.
