Sometimes I get a bit frustrated with music of faith that is all about “ME”. Then the Lord sends me a message, a personal encounter, a strong sense of mercy and forgiveness and it is so simple to see the world in terms of myself. Yes, it is true that His love, mercy and grace are universal and it is not the healthiest thing to see the work of God in terms of just “ME”, but the great news is that person after person in the ministry of Jesus was “the blind man”, “the woman at the well”, “the leper who returned (and went away rejoicing), and on and on and on. Proclaim your salvation and share your proclamation with many, but do not be ashamed to know Him. He happens to many of us.

I would add prayers for our family in the loss of one child, the coming births of two and the comfort of the many who share hearts. Elizah Eve Klaassen age 1 died Sat. Oct. 11. Mothers Tessa Baker and Jaslyn Klaassen still waiting.
