Exodus 33:9 As Moses went into the tent, the pillar of cloud would come down and stay at the entrance, while the LORD spoke with Moses. 10 Whenever the people saw the pillar of cloud standing at the entrance to the tent, they all stood and worshiped, each at the entrance to their tent.
We are not called to stand at some temple, church, synagogue or altar today. We are called to look upon the one who was crucified and visit the tomb that is empty and know that we have nothing to offer but to trust in Him. I wear a cross of some sort every day. It is not an ornament or statement of human effort. It is my price tag. God said that I am worth the death of His Son so that He and I may have a life together that is not limited by my skills or effort. Israel was under the protection, call and direction of the living God Yahweh. They saw the signs of their purchased freedom in the cloud. And they worshipped. Is your sign showing where you can see it? Not on the mountain, in the tent, but on your heart? He is at the tomb for us all.
For your prayers, Djibouti
