Not A Prophecy
Matthew 1:21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins."
This was the message of the angel to Joseph. This was not a prophecy because it was a FACT, an ACT OF GOD. We are not dealing with prophecies when we deal with Jesus. We are dealing with the very Person of God in action to bring healing to our broken lives and world. I have wondered how Joseph lived knowing this child was more than a baby to be cared for. Jesus brought an open door to the throne of Heaven, a way to return our broken lives to the Holy, Holy, Holy One. Our sins were paid for, the door is open. This is the door to life with God, not against Him. We are welcomed back to where we were to be. Let this message from the Angel be the message to your heart, my heart and the heart of those around who still chose to find emptiness in themselves. Please pass this on to someone in doubt.
