Seek and Find
Psalm 24:3 Who may ascend the mountain of the LORD? Who may stand in his holy place? 4 The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god. 5 They will receive blessing from the LORD and vindication from God their Savior. 6 Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, God of Jacob.
Is it about our behavior? The clean hands and pure heart? Or is it about the seeking of the God of all nations, peoples who are purchased by the Living God Jesus? Who is the King of Glory (vs 6?)? There may have been a Daniel, a Joseph or one who walked with few or little sin, but for all of us there is one who comes to those who seek Him and surrender themselves to His purpose and life. Are we seeking Him or our future glory? Let us all be clear for what we seek that when we find Him, we will not be disappointed as were the people in the Temple when He came to cleanse it? Let us rejoice that there is cleansing for us.
