Holy To The Lord
Zechariah 14:20 On that day HOLY TO THE LORD will be inscribed on the bells of the horses, and the cooking pots in the LORD's house will be like the sacred bowls in front of the altar. 21 Every pot in Jerusalem and Judah will be holy to the LORD Almighty, and all who come to sacrifice will take some of the pots and cook in them. And on that day there will no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the LORD Almighty.
This picture is at the end of a horrible, violent and cleansing time for not just Jerusalem, but portions of the earth and the area around Jerusalem. It is a picture that includes the awesome value of the Ownership of God of all things. Cooking pots and changed identities are only a sample of the hope of a world that has turned away from the Holy to the profane. God has made all things to be of value in His grace, but we have made them all: our bodies, our tools, our imaginations and our inventions into profane objects of our ?glory?. At the time of the victory of God over the Canaanite spirit, even the pots will be sacred. What is sacred in our lives?
