Personal Encounter
James 4:8 Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
This invitation is for all. It is not for the ones who come and pray daily or weekly. This is not for the family of 3 generations who form the congregation in the town. This is for all. Even them. All can come to the Lord of life and know that the cross has covered their sin, their selfishness, their anger, fear, hate, lust and all of the other evidences of their humanity in the eyes of the Holy One. He offers Himself personally to us. All of Us. Yes, you and yes me. This is not about some symbolic action, though it may start as such, but in the end, our open heart will open the heart of God for life in us. Hear the call, follow the invitation to His throne of love and grace. You are welcome in Him forever.
