The Afterword
Jeremiah 31:3 The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: "I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.
“You will lose your family, your job and your home.” These words to the man who got caught in a financial scam. His reputation is ruined. He is alone with no apparent future. This was Israel in the time of Jeremiah. This is many men and women in this wicked, tortured world. The afterword from God is not total loss, but a hope, even for the destroyed. Israel will come back. The imprisoned will be released. The financially destroyed will return and the family will be restored. His hope for us is not limited to straight good things, but often there is a path that the Lord leads that is not expected by those looking on or living the life. Look again to His desire to love you more.
