But Lord, these church members only like the people with good houses and won’t go to the homes of the poor for study times. But Lord, why do I have to go again to that guy, all he does is grumble? How many “But Lord’s” do we have in our history? I have a few. Can we put them aside from our memories and gut reactions so that the Lord can heal us from the outside to the inside to the outside again? Can we trust God to do that healing when we put the hurts and frustrations aside? He says we can. What say that today we take a chance and put something/anything that hurts, that frustrates up to the Lord and see if we get cleansed and maybe even shine a bit more? WAIT? EVERYTHING? Did not say everything. How about starting with something?
