Everything??
Philippians 2:14-15 Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, "children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation." Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky
“But, this mess was given to us by the teens who were here last night at the party – WHY ME???” “You tell me over and over again, why should I listen to you!?” There are some things that seem unfair, heavy to put up with and the word is “Everything.” For me there are events, projects and programs of life that just do not fit my agenda. How about you? Some also? The truth is that all of us are a bit to a lot warped by the standards of our time and generations. I have reached a time when the behaviors and standards of my grandchildren seem different than mine. I try to avoid “grumbling or complaining” even in my quiet mind because I have not walked or lived in their shoes – nor they in mine. This needs to come from our Lord and His Spirit because in my mind and heart “grumbling and complaining” might burst forth thoughtlessly and hurt all of us. Where are your “everything” events?
