Not Just In Weakness
Ephesians 3:18-19 may have power, together with all the Lord's holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
There is a tendency in some quarters of The Faith to put emphasis on our weaknesses, even to the point of disparagement of ourselves. And I am pretty sure we deserve it when under the awesome Love Of God. BUT…. Maybe we need to acknowledge the fact that He, The Lord, wants us to know Him even better than we know our broken sinfulness. He wants to move in us and with us in this life as gifts from Him to those around us. This prayer of Paul in Ephesians is for all of us, not just a few special folks who happen to “get it”. Have you seen the Lord in your heart and mind as truly more than this life can imagine? To know Him is to be filled with Him. Don’t settle for weakness when He is with you.
