Repeat!

Gal 3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole."

That which was cursed became accepted because one took a curse for those who were rejected! Did we follow that? Jesus was not cursed, but took the curse for us in our “prove it” estate so that we would be accepted where there was no “prove it” possible. Sin in it’s nature means to curse God as Lord, Creator and Father of our lives. It is not so much, though it certainly qualifies, about what we do as who we think we are. “I am lord of my life” is an attitude that automatically creates sin even if we do nothing against the rules of humanity or God. Jesus surrendered His “Lordship” so that we might be called what we could not be: Righteous! In effect, we are joined at the cross for our redemption unto the Father – we are no longer foreign to Him, but His children. And that, by the way, is salvation. (Note similar note yesterday seems appropriate today)
